Neighbourhood in Northampton taped off as police deal with an incident

A neighbourhood in Northampton has been taped off as police deal with an incident.

Raeburn Road and Fairfield Road in Kinglsey have been taped off since around 2am today (December 11), according to eyewitness reports.

Traffic is not being allowed through as areas are cordoned off.

The nature of the incident is not yet known.

Northamptonshire Police has now confirmed this incident relates to a fatal stabbing. Read the statement here.
