‘Highly competitive’ siblings scoop gold at shooting world championships
“Shooting is not our full-time jobs, just a very committed hobby! Winning this is a great achievement.”
A brother and sister duo from Naseby are celebrating after their team won gold for Great Britain.

Heather and Garryk Campbell both represent the country in the FTR Rifles team, shooting long-range competition rifles at targets up to 1,000 metres away.
They are part of a 16-man team, which also includes Carl Bailey, Arnaud Martin and Paul Fellows, who are also all from Northampton.

And at the end of August the talented shooters became the first British team to win gold in the FTR Rifles World Championships.
Hannah and Garryk, who both previously attended Guilsborough Academy, spend most weekends training.
They first became interested in shooting through their dad Ewen, who runs the under 25s Team GB squad.
Heather, who owns a dog grooming business, said: “Our dad inspired us to join the team and is our biggest supporter.
“Garryk started in about 2017 and then I joined as a fill-in for our local team called ‘Gun Fu Pandas'. After catching the bug and because we are both highly competitive, we tried out for Team GB.
“We both got picked as shooters for the British Open, going on to win gold, and then the following week were part of the first British team to ever win the world championships.
