Northampton drug dealer jailed after officers forced entry to property and found 'significant quantity' of crack cocaine and heroin
A Northampton drug dealer has been jailed after officers forced entry into a property and found a “significant quantity” of crack cocaine and heroin.
Olatide Nathan appeared at Northampton Crown Court for sentencing on July 9, after previously pleading guilty to being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
The 24-year-old was arrested on April 27, this year, when officers from the Clear Hold Build team attended an address in Saxon Court, Northampton, following concerns for the welfare of the occupant.
After forcing entry to the property, officers located Nathan inside along with a significant quantity of suspected Class A drugs.

Officers established that Nathan was concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin within Northampton and worked a 15-hour shift to progress the investigation and secure charges against Nathan.
Clear Hold Build Sergeant Ben Frost, said: "I would like to thank the officers from the Clear Hold Build team for their effort and determination in securing these charges. Their professionalism, commitment and persistence were instrumental in achieving this result.
"This case demonstrates our ongoing commitment to tackling drug-related crime and making communities across Northamptonshire safer.
"We will continue to take positive action against those involved in the supply of illegal drugs and the harm they cause within our neighbourhoods."
Nathan was sentenced to two years and four months in prison.
