It won’t be a happy New Year for this bunch of killers, rapists, child abusers, drug dealers, thugs and thieves, nor will it be for many years to come. All were jailed during 2022 and received some of the heaviest sentences handed down by judges at Northampton and other crown courts.
17. NIALL CHINNOCK, ZOE HUTSON and KIRT HUTSON
Cocaine kingpin Chinnock, 49, saw his empire crushed after he was stopped carrying four sample bags of drugs close to the A45. 18. FAISAL GULED
Guled was identified as the man behind a county lines gang selling cocaine trafficked from the Netherlands to Northampton after National Crime Agency detectives cracked an operation run by a convicted drug dealer from his prison cell. Guled, aged 34 — a Dutch national living in Camden, London, who worked for a supplier on the continent — was jailed for 11 years after pleading guilty to conspiracy to supply Class A drugs at Wood Green Crown Court.
