It won’t be a happy New Year for this bunch of killers, rapists, child abusers, drug dealers, thugs and thieves, nor will it be for many years to come. All were jailed during 2022 and received some of the heaviest sentences handed down by judges at Northampton and other crown courts.

The three gang members plotted kidnap and robbery of thousands in TVs, phones and luxury goods from a bolt-hole at a Northampton hotel, posing as police and telling two DPD drivers they had explosives on board before kidnapping them and driving to rural locations before loading up a car with stolen parcels.
