UPDATE: Man on Northampton roof is 'in position of danger' as police deal with ongoing incident in Thorplands

Reports have come in regarding a number of emergency vehicles in a street in Thorplands. No information is available at this stage as to the nature of the incident.

The police officers who were manning the road closure have been replaced by contractors after the policemen were called away from the road blockage to help with the incident.
