The nationwide exhibition received around 25,000 entries from talented young artists aged 4 to 18, with only around 200 artworks chosen to be exhibited. Lily's textile piece not only earned a place in the prestigious gallery exhibition but is also featured in the online showcase, making her achievement even more special.

Lily's tapestry was entered by her school art teacher as part of her art aptitude lessons, recognising both her creativity and dedication to her craft. When Lily received the news that her work had been selected, she was overjoyed.

Being selected by the Royal Academy of Arts is a remarkable accomplishment for any young artist, and for Lily, it is a moment she will never forget.
