Residents had a great time, the room was filled with residents from all communities all over the home, one resident in particular stated “this is just wonderful I am having such a wonderful time”, another resident stated how talented the group were and this had been the first time they had seen the group perform.
The event, part of the home's Life Enrichment programme, saw the lounge transformed into a concert space filled with music, love, and laughter. Resident sang along and even got up to dance to various classics, and it was very notable the infectious joy that the group brought to the home.
Activities Coordinator Lisa Watts said: “Our Activities Team is dedicated to ensuring that we organise events that encourage our residents to host their families and friends at Brampton View Care home. Our home is always to open to loved ones who wish to take part in our life enrichment program.
General Manager said: "We can't thank these wonderful people enough our residents had an incredible afternoon; we are so lucky to have Ukes Aloud visit our care homes and our residents benefit so much for having them in the home”.
