1 in 4 of the hospice’s patients are funded through their retail operations, helping ensure that more individuals receive the compassionate care they need and deserve.

The Myton Hospices is now recruiting for an Assistant Manager to join the team with the launch of the store. This role will be central to establishing the shop within the local community, from building and supporting a strong volunteer team, to creating engaging shop layouts and displays, and driving high-quality stock donations.

Myton is also looking for volunteers to get involved and support the new shop by welcoming and assisting customers, operating the till and helping to create a friendly shopping experience.

Anil Gupta, Head of Retail & Trading at The Myton Hospices, said:

“We are thrilled to be opening a new shop in Daventry. Our shops are a vital part of Myton’s fundraising, and every purchase, donation and volunteer helps us continue providing compassionate care free of charge to those who need it most. We are now looking for a passionate and motivated individual to help lead this new shop and help us build strong connections within the local community.”

Applicants with retail experience, strong leadership skills and a passion for the community are encouraged to apply. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in a new store launch while making a meaningful contribution to hospice care.
