Don’t miss world-class music acts such as Arrested Development and The Proclaimers; phenomenal funk, hip-hop band BCUC and Afro-futuristic-punk collective Fulu Miziki; critically acclaimed theatre, ‘The Light House’; and top-of-its-game comedy from Luisa Omelian.

Brilliant activists will be creating space for difficult conversations including this year’s Creativity under Trump panel, singer and activist Charlotte Church, Jordan Stephens and Guvna B on toxic masculinity and acting legend Michael Sheen.

It’s time to make the most of every precious moment. Let’s dive in.

MUSIC
1. CLASS ACT - ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT
Whoop! Whoop! Let’s hear it for party-starters and iconic hip hop trailblazers Arrested Development. Don’t miss their incredible festival set as they close the last ever festival at Boughton House.

2. ALWAYS GOING THAT EXTRA MILE - THE PROCLAIMERS
This isn’t The Proclaimers first Greenbelt rodeo, they first performed at Greenbelt in 1988, and again in 2012. This is going to be a set to remember packed with absolute bangers - see you at the main stage!

3. MAKING MUSIC FROM GARBAGE - FULU MIZIKI
Wild, loud, and gloriously unclassifiable, Fulu Miziki is a thrillingly chaotic eco-friendly Afro-futuristic-punk collective from the Congolese capital of Kinshasa. Their unique sound offers a pan-African message of artistic liberation, peace and a severe look at the ecological situation of the Democratic Republic of Congo and the whole world. Expect the unexpected.

4. FUNK, HIP-HOP, PUNK - THE BRILLIANT
BCUC
Channeling the spirit of Soweto BCUC blend funk, hip-hop and punk rock energy into something truly unique. Their mantra is music for the people, by the people, with the people. From humble beginnings rehearsing in a shipping container, a stone’s throw from the church where Desmond Tutu organised the escape of the most wanted anti-Apartheid activists, BCUC kept believing in their dream of self-empowerment. Today they command festival stages worldwide including Glastonbury, WOMAD, Afropunk Brooklyn, and Roskilde.

IDEAS & ACTIVISM
5. FABULOUS FAITHFUL - CHARLOTTE CHURCH
Greenbelt is thrilled to welcome this multi-million record selling artist to the fields this summer. Charlotte will be in conversation about her life, work and passions; leading a singing circle in the Shelter venue; and surprising us with a special pop-up performance at our closing-of-festival OK Chorale mass-eoke too. Don’t miss her!

6. THE LEGEND, THE MAN - MICHAEL SHEEN
Acting royalty Micheal Sheen will be at this year’s festival discussing his life, his work, his artistry and his philanthropism. His film and TV credits are extensive from Tim Burton’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’ to Simon Pegg’s ‘Slaughterhouse Rulez’, ‘Good Omens’, ‘Quiz’, and most recently ‘A Very Royal Scandal’. Last year Michael announced the birth of the Welsh National Theatre - the debut season saw Thornton Wilder’s Our Town receive 5* reviews with the company’s second production ‘Owain and Henry’ commencing its run this coming autumn.

7. THE BITING REALITY OF TOXIC MASCULINITY - JORDAN STEPHEN & GUVNA B
The inspiring duo of musician, performer, writer, thinker and speaker on issues such as mental health and masculinity, sees Jordan Stephens and Guvna B come together to explore the hard truths surrounding toxic masculinity. Jordan and Guvna B will be in conversation on Friday 28 August in the Pagoda; Guvna B will then continue the conversation on masculinity in the Hope & Anchor later that afternoon.

8. AMERICANA PANEL DISCUSSION - CREATIVITY UNDER TRUMP
Arrested Development frontman and lyrical rapper, Speech, has agreed to be part of a timely panel conversation with Greenbelt’s other Stateside artists - Flamy Grant, Crys Matthews and Lee Bains - on what it’s like to be creative people of Christian faith living a life of artistry and resistance against a backdrop of Trump 2.0 and American Christian Nationalism.

COMEDY
9. WHO RUNS THE WORLD? GIRLS - TRAILBLAZING COMEDIAN LUISA OMIELAN
Don’t miss the brilliantly funny Luisa Omielan at this year’s Greenbelt. Known for pioneering a new wave of feminist stand-up in the UK, Luisa’s bold one-woman show explores power, faith, grief, patriarchy and female autonomy, all delivered with razor-sharp wit, humor and honesty. Catch her on Friday and Saturday evenings in the Forum.

THEATRE
10. A LOVE LETTER TO LIFE - ‘THE LIGHT HOUSE’
This acclaimed debut play from Alys Williams has already received rave 5* reviews. I Thank You Theatre described ‘The Light House’ as ‘A truly remarkable play that leaves you dizzy, a little breathless and smiling your happy smile all the way home.’ Tender, funny and defiantly hopeful, The Light House is a real life story of falling in love and staying in love, even when the lights go out and you’re lost in the dark.

ELSEWHERE AT THIS YEAR’S FESTIVAL…
Look out for the unsung heroes, the unexpected treasures and the hidden gems we know you’re going to LOVE. Release your inner child with Play Shapes ultimate-build-your-own soft play; party with punk / funk band Flat Moon, rediscover the power of touch with dance theatre company HUG, and laugh-until-your-face-aches comedy from Reggie Watts and Ria Lina.

HOW DO I GET A TICKET?
Simple. Just click here! And what’s even better is Greenbelt is holding its 2026 tickets at 2025 prices. It’s all about creating a festival that’s as affordable, accessible and inclusive as possible.

WHAT’S GREENBELT’S PAY-WHAT-YOU-CAN TICKETING STRUCTURE
Post-pandemic Greenbelt introduced a radical and inclusive pay-what-you-can ticketing model where those who can pay – do – and those who can’t – have the opportunity to pay what they can.

There’s just three simple price-points for adult tickets: Supported, Standard and Supporter. For Greenbelt 2026 adult weekend tickets will cost just £150 for those who choose the Supported price, £200 for the festival’s Standard ticket, and £250 for the pay-it-forward Supporter ticket. Young adults (age 18 to 25 years) tickets will start at £120, youth (12 - 17 years) from £50, children (5 - 11 years) from £25, and under 5s are free.
You can also spread the cost - buy now, pay later. The earlier you buy your tickets, the more months you can spread your costs over, completely interest-free.
