Now in its 12th year, the Taylor Wimpey Challenge has so far raised over £1.6million for the Youth Adventure Trust (YAT), a charity which inspires vulnerable young people through outdoor adventure,  as well as other regional charities across the country.

On Saturday 16th May 2026, over 300 Taylor Wimpey employees, across 49 teams completed a hike along the north Devon coastline, followed by a series of competitive creative and strategic tasks.

Money raised by 14  members of staff from Taylor Wimpey South Midlands will be donated to the YAT and Harry’s Rainbow, a Milton Keynes-based charity that supports children and young people who have lost a parent or sibling.

Gemma Davies, senior planning manager at Taylor Wimpey South Midlands, said: “The Taylor Wimpey Challenge is always a fantastic event. Not only does it bring together employees from across the business, but more importantly, it raises a huge amount of money for extremely worthy charities. This year has been no different and I’m extremely proud of our team for their effort in raising much-needed donations for the YAT and Harry’s Rainbow.”

Mark Davey, CEO at the Youth Adventure Trust, said: “It has been another fantastic year for the Taylor Wimpey Challenge, with all of the participants embracing the activities with camaraderie and a great sense of humour. As always, we’re very appreciative of their efforts in support of our mission to help young people fulfil their potential and lead positive lives. Funding from this year’s event will make a huge difference to us and we look forward to continuing our partnership into 2027.”
