‘ Run for Rory ‘ - Northampton primary school teachers fun run for charity

On Wednesday 8th July, children and staff at Standens Barn Primary School held a ‘Run for Rory’ event to help raise funds for their chosen charities- PASIC and PACT- and for families and children affected by cancer.

All children ran in year group relay races to show their support for a fellow classmate, who is having ongoing treatment and has been heavily supported by the chosen charities.

The highlight for many was enjoying an ice cream and watching the teachers’ race- staff competed in a relay race whilst dressed as different fun characters, despite the hot temperatures!

It was an incredible afternoon. The sun was shining, the smiles were everywhere, and it was wonderful to watch the school community come together and show such amazing support and generosity for 2 fabulous causes.
