Record number of gardens open in The Bringtons
Sunday May 17 will see a County-wide record for the most gardens opened as part of the National Garden Scheme "Open Gardens". The Bringtons will offer 20 or more gardens to be opened to the public to visit and enjoy. Entry is just £10 per adult and free for children. Getting between the two beautiful villages will be aided by the 'free bus' service that has been made available by the Bringtons Parish Council. There are free car parks in by Little and Great!

All that walking will no doubt work up a thirst and appetite. But don't worry, tea and cakes will be sold in both Little Brington and Great, with proceeds going to the village school and the church.
The ACI and the Saracens Head Pubs will also be making some special arrangement for the day, plus their usual fayre of great food and drinks.
Last year, The Bringtons Open Gardens attracted over 500 visitors and raised in excess of £8,000 for charity. Overall, the National Garden Scheme raised over £3m per year with all proceeds going to a number of very good causes.
