Reach for Health Daventry charity launches new Wellbeing Hub to support local community
Reach for Health Centre in Daventry is preparing to launch a brand-new Wellbeing Hub, bringing together a range of mental health, wellbeing, social and community support opportunities under one roof.

The official launch will take place on Friday 4th September 2026, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, at Reach for Health Centre on Western Avenue, Daventry.
The new Wellbeing Hub marks an exciting new chapter for the charity and has been developed to support people within the local community to recover, connect and thrive.

The launch event will provide an opportunity for local residents, community organisations, professionals, volunteers and supporters to meet the Reach for Health team, discover the services available and find out more about the charity's plans for the future.
A place to connect, learn and improve wellbeing
The Wellbeing Hub will bring together a range of initiatives designed to improve mental and emotional wellbeing, reduce social isolation and help people build confidence, connections and resilience.
One of the key developments is the Wellbeing Garden, an accessible outdoor space being created at the centre. The garden will provide a peaceful environment for relaxation, reflection, mindful activities and nature-based wellbeing sessions.
Although the garden is still a work in progress, visitors to the launch will be able to see the progress made so far, hear about the vision for the space and discover the exciting plans for its future development.
The Hub will also provide a Cancer Support Circle, offering a welcoming environment where people affected by cancer can connect with others, share experiences and receive peer support.
A new 8-Week Mental Health & Wellness Programme will support people living with long-term health conditions to better understand the relationship between physical and mental health, develop resilience and confidence, and build positive strategies to support their long-term wellbeing.
Bringing the community together
The Wellbeing Hub will also provide opportunities for people to learn, volunteer and connect with others.
Through its Community Engagement Programme, Reach for Health will work alongside professionals and local organisations to provide workshops covering a variety of health, wellbeing, safety and lifelong learning topics.
The charity is also developing a Volunteer Programme, providing meaningful opportunities for people to share their skills and experience, learn new skills, build confidence, meet new people and make a positive difference within their community.
Social connection will be another important part of the Hub, with a range of friendly groups designed to reduce isolation and create a sense of belonging.
These include the Gardening Club, Coffee & Craft and Communi-Tea Group, offering opportunities to socialise, learn new skills and build friendships in a welcoming environment.
An exciting new chapter for Reach for Health
The launch represents an important development in Reach for Health's ongoing work within the local community.
The charity believes that good health is about more than physical rehabilitation and that people also need opportunities to build social connections, develop confidence, access mental health support and take part in activities that improve their overall quality of life.
The Wellbeing Hub aims to bring these opportunities together in a familiar, welcoming and accessible environment.
