Northamptonshire spray painting business comes full circle with new vehicle restoration service

A Northamptonshire family-run business is celebrating a major milestone after expanding its services and returning to where it all began.

Rowland Spray Team, based in Brixworth, has spent the past 10 years building a reputation for transforming kitchens, shopfronts, commercial buildings and homes through specialist spray painting and surface restoration. Now, the company has added vehicle refinishing and restoration to its growing list of services - bringing founder Michael Rowland back to his original trade.

Before launching Rowland Spray Team in 2015, Michael trained in vehicle refinishing. As demand grew for architectural and commercial spray painting, the business evolved into one of the region's specialists in restoring everything from windows and cladding to industrial machinery and residential properties. A decade later, the latest expansion marks something of a full-circle moment.

Michael said: 'When I started the business, I never imagined how much it would grow. We've been lucky to work on such a huge variety of projects over the years, and it's been amazing to see more people choosing restoration over replacement.

Bringing vehicle refinishing back into the business feels really special because it's where my career started. It feels like the right time to combine those original skills with everything we've learned over the past ten years.’

The expansion comes as more homeowners and businesses look for ways to refresh existing surfaces rather than replace them, helping to reduce both costs and waste.

Today, Rowland Spray Team works with homeowners, commercial clients, property developers and local authorities across Northamptonshire and beyond, offering services including kitchen spraying, windows and doors, cladding, shopfronts, industrial machinery, furniture, surface repairs and colour matching, alongside its new vehicle restoration service.

The business has also invested in new equipment and facilities to support its continued growth and increasing demand.

Michael added ‘we’re incredibly proud of how far we've come. Every project is different, and that's what makes the job so rewarding. This next chapter allows us to offer even more to our customers while staying true to what we've always believed in - giving things a new lease of life instead of replacing them.’

As Rowland Spray Team celebrates ten years in business, the latest expansion is another milestone for the growing Northamptonshire company, with plans to continue investing in its services while supporting customers across the region.
