Team members from Romania dressed up in honour of their traditional attire and bought in some food for everyone to try. Claremont residents loved seeing everyone looking so colourful!

Claremont came together not only as colleagues, but as people with unique stories, backgrounds, traditions, experiences and identities that make our workplace what it is. It was great to have the opportunity to teach others something new about each other.

Team members Nico and Maddie who are from Romania explained to residents the reason behind their tradition of dyeing eggs, the red dye represents the 'Blood of Christ' The hard shell of the egg represents the 'sealed tomb of of Jesus' and new life which eggs generally symbolise new life.

Moments like this reminds each of us that while we may all come from different places and walks of life, we are united through kindness, respect and the communities we build together every day.

Claremont Parkway residents thanked each of the team members who took part, contributed, shared a piece of themselves and helped create such a welcoming and meaningful celebration. Your enthusiasm, openness and willingness to celebrate each other made today truly memorable.
