Northampton's 'greatest food and drink extravaganza' returns to Delapré Abbey
The countdown is officially on for NN’s ultimate summer weekend as the Delapré Food Festival returns Delapré Abbey this weekend.
Promised to be the town's greatest ever food and drink gathering, the festival will bring the estate’s house and grounds to life with a massive celebration of local produce, world-class street food, masterclasses and live entertainment.
This year's spectacular line-up features over 70 artisan food and drink stalls, alongside a massive street food market showcasing 13 of the region’s finest vendors cooking up fresh, hot international dishes.

In a major coup for the local culinary scene, the festival will also host an International BBQ Exclusive. Texas BBQ legend Colter Peck is flying in straight from the USA to team up with local live-fire experts for a masterclass in smokehouse cooking.
Visitors looking to sharpen their own culinary skills can also enjoy a free Chef Demo Stage, a Live Fire Cooking School and dedicated cheese and cocktail masterclasses.
The festival isn't just for foodies; it offers a full weekend itinerary for families and music lovers alike. Entertainment includes:
The Saturday Night Twilight Party: Featuring live music headliners Funk Odyssey and Jamie Benkert keeping the party moving until 9:00pm on Saturday.
All-Day Live Music: A vibrant acoustic lineup across the weekend, including a performance by the infectious Rock Choir.
Family & Kids' Entertainment: A free family circus, children's cookery classes, bouncy castles, and face painting.
Abbey Access: Free historic tours of Delapré Abbey included with festival entry.
Dog-Friendly Atmosphere: Well-behaved, four-legged companions on leads are welcome to join the fun on the lawns.

Founder Crispin Slee said: "We can't wait to throw open the doors on Saturday morning. From the finest local artisan treats and international chef talent to incredible live music into the twilight, there is truly something for everyone. We can't wait to see the community come together to support local food heroes in such a beautiful setting."
Festival gates open this weekend. Delapré Food Festival runs from 10am to 9pm on Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sunday. Tickets are also available for the evening only
