Northampton pre-school recognised nationally for SEND support
"We're proud to have received our Portage Stamp of Approval for another year, an achievement we have maintained since 2017”
A Northampton pre-school has retained a prestigious national award recognising the quality of its support for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Bellinge Community Pre-school has been awarded the National Portage Association's (NPA) Portage Stamp of Approval for another year, maintaining the accolade every year since 2017.
The pre-school says it is one of only three in Northampton to hold the award, which is granted following an annual assessment of its practice by the National Portage Association.

The assessment recognises that trained Portage Practitioners have the knowledge, skills and guidance needed to provide high-quality support for children with SEND and their families.
In a statement, the pre-school thanked National Portage Association representatives Eleanor and Gemma for their continued support.
It said: "We're proud to have received our Portage Stamp of Approval for another year, an achievement we have maintained since 2017.
"We are one of only three pre-schools in Northampton to hold this award.
"Each year, the National Portage Association assesses our practice with Eleanor and Gemma, much like an inspection.
"The award recognises that, as Portage Practitioners, we have the information and guidance needed to provide high-quality support for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and their families.
"Thank you, Eleanor and Gemma, for your continued support of our staff, children and families, and for helping us retain this important recognition."
