Northampton charity Jobskills Training Association relaunches career catalyst programme this June
Following the successful launch of the Career Catalyst Programme last year, Jobskills Training Association is proud to announce the relaunch of the programme this June 2026, continuing its mission to support young people with practical career and digital skills development.

The programme has been designed to help young people, students, and aspiring professionals gain hands-on experience and workplace exposure that prepares them for future employment opportunities and entrepreneurship.
This year’s programme will place a strong focus on practical digital learning, including:
Creating promotional and social media reels
Learning digital marketing skills
Content creation and branding
Social media management
Practical digital and workplace skills
Introduction to the usage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in different sectors
Understanding how AI is transforming business, media, marketing, education, healthcare, and customer services
Professional communication and teamwork
Real-world business exposure and creative projects
As part of the initiative, local businesses across Northampton are being invited to support the programme by collaborating with participants and providing opportunities for young people to gain practical knowledge and experience in real business environments.
The programme encourages businesses to engage young participants in activities such as creating promotional content, assisting with digital campaigns, learning AI-powered tools, and developing modern digital skills that are increasingly valuable in today’s workplace.
Mr. Manash Mukherjee, Chair of Jobskills Training Association, said:
“Young people today need more than theoretical knowledge — they need practical exposure, confidence, creativity, and digital skills that prepare them for the real world. Through the Career Catalyst Programme, we aim to create meaningful opportunities where young people can work alongside businesses, learn modern digital marketing techniques, understand the growing role of Artificial Intelligence across industries, create promotional content, and develop the practical experience employers are looking for.
"We strongly encourage local businesses and community organisations to join us in supporting the next generation by opening doors for learning, collaboration, innovation, and digital transformation.”
Mrs. Snejuti Mukherjee, Trustee of Jobskills Training Association, added: “This programme is about empowering young people with confidence, creativity, and practical exposure that can make a real difference in their future careers. We want participants to explore modern technologies, digital communication, and AI-driven tools while working on real projects that help them build valuable experience.
"We believe strong collaboration between charities, businesses, and the community can create meaningful opportunities for young people to learn, grow, and succeed in today’s evolving digital world.”
By connecting young people with local businesses and practical projects, the Career Catalyst Programme aims to build confidence, creativity, employability, and industry-ready skills among the next generation.
The programme is scheduled to begin in June 2026, with further details and participation opportunities to be announced soon.
