New immersive theatre show puts Northampton audiences in control of the story
The Old Savoy in Northampton is set to host an exclusive performance of a new immersive theatre production that places the audience at the heart of the action.

SINS, a dark and interactive theatrical experience, will be performed on August 1 ahead of a planned UK tour.
Unlike traditional theatre productions, SINS invites audience members to influence the direction of the story using their mobile phones. Guided by a mysterious character known as The Examiner, guests will be presented with a series of moral challenges inspired by the seven deadly sins.
Organisers say every decision made by the audience will remain anonymous, but each choice will have consequences that shape the unfolding narrative.
The production centres on seven lives, seven sins and seven judgements, with audiences encouraged to consider how they would respond to a range of ethical dilemmas.
The Northampton performance will also serve as a special filmed event, with professional footage being captured for trailers, promotional material and marketing campaigns ahead of the show's wider tour.
To help create a full audience atmosphere for filming, tickets are being offered at a reduced price, although availability is limited.
Organisers have stressed that no audience members will be called on stage or singled out during the performance, with all participation taking place from their seats via their phones.
Anyone attending should be aware that photography and video recording will take place during the event and may be used in future promotional material for the production.
The show promises a unique blend of theatre, technology and audience participation, challenging viewers to consider not only the choices made on stage, but their own moral decisions as well.
