Mum & Baby classes making an impact in Northampton

Local Dance and fitness studio Mes Amies Dance Company are making a big impact for local mums with their Squats and Snuggles Classes!

These classes are dedicated workout classes where mums can bring their babies and work out safe in the knowledge that they can exercise with their baby next to them in a safe, welcoming and supportive environment.

Squats and Snuggles was born from owner Amie, who as a busy Mum herself, knows how hard it can be to get fitness into your busy schedule, and it's even harder if you don't have childcare available while you want to exercise. Qualified as a Personal trainer and dance teacher with additional post natal qualifications as well as an Advanced diploma in Diet and Nutrition, all Mum's who come along are in good hands!

The class is suitable for all fitness levels and can be tailored to ensure everyone gets the workout they want and take into account any post natal requirements. It's fun, upbeat and very relaxed - so if baby needs feeding mid squats, that's fine! The best part is the class is Pay As You Go, meaning you don't have to commit to an expensive course of classes and classes are affordable at only £6

Mums so far have enjoyed this class thoroughly throughout maternity leave with one saying 'The saddest part of my maternity leave ending, is not being able to come to class any more'

The class is held on Tuesdays at 10am, Mes Amies Dance Company, Freehold Street, Northampton. It's easily accessible with a large free car park as well as good links to local public transport.

The studio also offers a large variety of other fitness classes in Northampton such as Pilates, Yoga, Barre and Strength and Conditioning as well as lots of dance classes open to adults of all ages and abilities. With All classes Pay As You Go and the first class free, it's a great chance to try something new and meet some like minded and friendly people.
