Hawksfest brings brand new summer community festival to Towcester this June
The Friends of Nicholas Hawksmoor School (FONHS), the parent-led charity supporting children at Nicholas Hawksmoor Primary School in Towcester, is delighted to announce the launch of Hawksfest 2026, a brand new summer community festival designed to bring families, friends and the wider local community together for an afternoon of live music, entertainment, food and fun.

FONHS supports children in our community through a range of fundraising events and activities throughout the year, helping to provide added opportunities, resources and experiences for pupils. Hawksfest is set to be the charity’s biggest celebration yet, with all proceeds going directly back into supporting the children of Nicholas Hawksmoor Primary School.
The festival takes place on Saturday 6th June, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, at Nicholas Hawksmoor Primary School, Balmoral Close, Towcester, NN12 6JA. Entry is free, and everyone is welcome. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs and settle in for a relaxed afternoon together.

The event will be officially opened at 12:00pm by Towcester Town Mayor, Cllr Maggie Clubley, helping launch what promises to be a fantastic day for the local community.
Hawksfest will feature a full programme of live entertainment throughout the afternoon, including headline act Firing Line, a popular local rock band.
Visitors can also enjoy performances from:
DJ Coach Cake
The Nicholas Hawksmoor Primary School Year 6 Choir
Live acts from Rockschools led by Mr Taylor
The band Leg-ends of Rock led by Hawksmoor’s very own Mr Driver
Performances from Laszlo’s School of Dance

Alongside the music and stage entertainment, there will be plenty of food and drink available including pancakes, pizza, BBQ, hot dogs, sweets, ice cream, doughnuts, coffee and a licensed bar.
Families can also enjoy a variety of stalls, games and attractions including crafts, balloons, tombola, and a reptile display experience from RaptOxotics.
For younger visitors, fairground rides suitable for children aged 5 to 11 will include:
Mini Paratroopers
Mini Jets
Cups and Saucers

The event will also be supported by St John Ambulance and local Police Cadets, helping ensure a safe, welcoming and family friendly environment for all attendees.
This year’s event is made even more special thanks to the generous support of Live Nation and SJM Concerts, whose sponsorship has helped make Hawksfest possible.
Fanwi Sykes Chairperson for FONHS said:
“We’re absolutely thrilled to be launching Hawksfest. It’s all about bringing our community together, having a brilliant afternoon, and raising vital funds for local children at the same time. We’re so grateful to our sponsors and supporters for helping us make it happen.”
With free entry, live music and something for all ages, Hawksfest promises to be one of Towcester’s highlights of the summer.
