Global yoga teachers unite in Castle Ashby for charity event supporting children in Kolkata
On 1 August 2026, The Falcon, Castle Ashby, will host the Yoga Garden Party, a one-day event bringing together over 20 leading UK & international yoga teachers and practitioners for a shared day of practice, learning, and community.
Set at The Falcon, Castle Ashby, the event offers a dedicated space for families, teachers, students, and yoga enthusiasts of all levels to practise together in an inclusive and welcoming environment. The Yoga Garden Party will feature 4 state of the art studios offering 4–5 classes with experienced teachers in each studio through the day, reflecting a wide range of traditions and teaching approaches.
The Yoga Garden Party is held in support of The Hope Foundation (HOPE), a charity working to transform the lives of street-connected children and families living in extreme hardship in Kolkata, India. Funds raised through the event will support HOPE’s programmes in healthcare, education, protection, and long-term community support.

This event, the tenth Yoga Garden Party, is organised by Simon Low and a dedicated volunteer team of yoga teachers and practitioners. Simon is a Patron of The Hope Foundation and a yoga teacher with over 35 years’ experience. Originally trained in the United States, Simon has studied and taught extensively in the UK and internationally for over three decades and is a co-founder of London’s Triyoga, Santillán Retreat in Spain, and The Yoga Academy.
Simon Low shared, “I am deeply grateful for the support of the teachers and volunteers whose dedication and generosity have helped bring this gathering to life. Their commitment and compassion have created what promises to be a truly special Yoga Garden Party in aid of HOPE — reflecting the very highest standards of yoga practice, guidance, and teaching, while celebrating the spirit of community that lies at the heart of yoga”
Maureen Forrest - Founding President HOPE – shared " I have had the great pleasure of attending the Yoga Garden Party in the past, and it truly is a special event. It offers a unique opportunity to practise yoga in a beautiful setting, whilst connecting with people who genuinely care about well-being and about creating meaningful change. I have also known Simon Low for many years, and everything he does is grounded in integrity, kindness, and passion."
Family-friendly and open to all levels of experience, the Yoga Garden Party welcomes both established practitioners and those new to yoga. While the event supports an important charitable cause, it is designed first and foremost to be a high-quality and friendly yoga experience in a distinctive and historic setting.
