Standout subject successes include Maths, where students demonstrated impressive progress and high attainment, and French, which saw some of the strongest outcomes in recent years with a significant number of students achieving top grades. Religious Studies also performed exceptionally well, with students showcasing deep understanding and thoughtful engagement across all papers. In Drama, students excelled in both performance and written components, producing creative, high quality work that impressed moderators and staff alike.

This year’s results highlight the achievements of many individual students whose dedication has been outstanding. Among those celebrating exceptional outcomes are Ella, Ellis, Mischa, Archie, Aimee and Harriet each of whom has demonstrated resilience, commitment and a strong work ethic throughout their studies. Their successes reflect the supportive environment created by staff and the determination shown by students across the year group.

These results set students up strongly for their Post 16 pathways, with a large proportion of the cohort choosing to continue their studies at the Elizabeth Woodville School Sixth Form. Staff are looking forward to welcoming them back in September as they begin the next stage of their academic journey, building on the firm foundations laid during their GCSE years.

Headteacher Hannah Jones said:

“Today is a celebration of our students’ hard work and the dedication shown by our staff team. We are incredibly proud of every young person receiving their results. Their achievements reflect not only academic excellence but also the character, resilience and ambition that define our school community.”

Gavin Martin, Head of Sixth Form, added:

They have set a strong foundation for advanced study, and we look forward to supporting them as they take confident next steps.”

Elizabeth Woodville School congratulates all Year 11 students on their achievements and wishes them every success as they move forward into the next phase of their education.
