This year's Year 11 cohort achieved a number of notable successes across a range of subjects, reflecting the hard work, dedication and resilience shown by students throughout their studies.

Particular congratulations go to the school's Modern Foreign Languages team, where students achieved exceptional outcomes in both French and Spanish, demonstrating strong linguistic skills and a commitment to excellence. The department's results represent some of the strongest performances across the school.

The school is also celebrating impressive results in English Language and English Literature, with students outperforming last year's cohort and achieving significant improvements across both subjects. Staff praised students for their determination and hard work, which have led to outstanding progress and attainment.

Among the many individual success stories are Jack, who achieved top grades across all of his subjects and Luca and Poppy, who each secured grades 7 and above in the majority of their GCSE subjects, demonstrating exceptional academic achievement across a broad range of disciplines.

Headteacher Emma Reed said:

"We are incredibly proud of every one of our Year 11 students. These results are the culmination of years of hard work, perseverance and determination, and they reflect not only the commitment of our students but also the unwavering support of our staff and families.

We would like to congratulate all of our students, whether they have achieved the very highest grades or overcome personal challenges to reach their goals. Every success deserves recognition today.

These results make this year especially significant as we look ahead to an exciting new chapter. We are thrilled to be reopening as Roade Village Academy this September and look forward to welcoming students into a school that remains firmly committed to ambition, opportunity and excellence for all. The future is incredibly bright, and we cannot wait to see what our students go on to achieve."

As the school prepares to open its doors as Roade Village Academy, the strong GCSE outcomes provide a fitting celebration of student achievement and a positive foundation for the next stage in the school's journey.

Congratulations to all students receiving their results and best wishes for the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.
