This Christmas, step into a world of wonder at Canons Ashby, where enchanting decorations inspired by Arthurian legend bring stories of Merlin, knights and dragons to life.
Families can follow Merlin’s Magic Christmas Trail and take part in A Christmas Quest, helping Merlin gather the ingredients needed to cast a special Christmas spell. Alongside the magical decorations, visitors can enjoy a season of festive events, including wreath-making workshops, atmospheric evening tours, carol and brass band concerts, handbell ringing and Christmas storytime.

Seasonal treats are available in the Coach House tea-room and festive shopping in the gift shop.
Discover Midwinter Merriment at Lyveden, where festive traditions, seasonal greenery and a touch of Tudor mischief transform the manor into a magical winter experience.
Visitors can explore beautifully decorated rooms as the mischievous Lord of Misrule takes over, mixing Tudor Christmas customs with festive celebrations from across the centuries. Alongside the enchanting displays, a packed programme of seasonal events includes festive workshops, afternoon teas, family crafts, a special 'Santa Paws’ experience for dogs and their owners, and a charming stage production of A Christmas Carol.

After a winter stroll, guests can warm up in the Manor Café with festive treats, hot chocolates and mince pies by the log burner.
