Easter Joy at Brampton View with Chicks, Dancing, and a Visit from the Easter Bunny
Local Care Home, Brampton View in Northampton had an wonderful festive celebration this week as residents, families, and staff came together for a memorable Easter weekend filled with "eggciting" activities.
Easter festivities kicked off with some very special guest as the home was joined by a brood of newly hatched chicks. Currently nesting in the main reception area, the "feathered friends" have become an instant hit, with residents eagerly awaiting the moment they are big enough for "chick-walks" around the home.
Then the dance floor was opened up on Good Friday as popular vocalist Lesley Ann returned to the home. Residents were seen clapping, tapping their feet, and dancing along to the performance. Known for her warmth, Lesley Ann ensured the afternoon was extra special by posing for photos with the group throughout the event.
A beautiful Easter Service was held on the home's balcony in partnership with Reynard’s Church, providing a moment of reflection before Easter Sunday, where resident and loved ones joined in on the homes Easter Egg Hunt. The Easter Bunny also made a starring appearance on Easter Sunday, hopping through the home to deliver chocolate eggs, on a very well decorated Easter Trolley, to every resident.

Lisa Watts, Activity Co-ordinator, said: "Seeing the delight on our residents' faces as they received their chocolate eggs was just heart-warming. They were all so grateful, and their smiles really said it all. The energy in the home was fantastic, and it was wonderful to see so many families joining."
Brampton View extends a huge thank you to the local community and family members who helped make this Easter weekend one of the liveliest yet.
