Petrici Ghenadii scooped a brand-new £208,000 Lamborghini Urus SE along with £50,000 in cash after entering BOTB's weekly Dream Car Competition.

The 32-year-old, who has been playing BOTB for more than a year, was enjoying a day off at home when presenter Christian Williams arrived to deliver the life-changing surprise.

Recognising Christian immediately from the winner videos he'd watched online, Petrici still had no idea he was about to become BOTB's latest winner.

Asking him to look down the road where a car was parked up, Christian watched as Petrici slowly realised the luxury SUV was his.

"You're joking? We have a Lamborghini!” the father-of-two said.

“I am so happy. It means a lot to me and my family and changes everything for us.”

The Lamborghini Urus SE is a plug-in hybrid super-SUV producing an incredible 788bhp, combining supercar performance with everyday family practicality.

"Every time I buy a ticket, I play for the Urus,” said the lifelong Lamborghini fan who admitted to having never sat in one before. “I like Lamborghini and this is an amazing car."

The excitement continued as Petrici was invited to sit inside the car and fire up the powerful engine.

After showing Petrici around his new super-SUV, Christian opened the boot to reveal an additional £50,000 cash prize hidden inside.

Joined by his family for the emotional reveal, Petrici was left speechless once again as they celebrated the incredible win together.

Despite fulfilling a dream of owning a Lamborghini, Petrici said he was planning on taking the cash alternative to help secure his family's future.

"I need to think about my family and our future. It means we'll be mortgage-free."

He also revealed the family can finally enjoy a well-deserved break after years of putting every spare penny towards buying their home.

"We're one hundred per cent going on holiday," added Petrici, who was due back at work the following day.

"I haven't been on holiday for five years because I've been using my money to help buy our house.”

Christian said: "Petrici's reaction was brilliant. You could see he genuinely couldn't believe what he was looking at when I asked him to look down the road and spotted the Urus waiting for him.

"He told me he'd entered to win the Urus every single time, so to be able to hand him the keys to his dream car was incredibly special.

"And then, just when he thought the surprises were over, we revealed the £50,000 hidden in the boot. Seeing him celebrate with his family made the moment even more memorable.

"It's fantastic to hear that the cash will allow him to pay off his mortgage, enjoy a family holiday and give them real financial security. That's exactly what these prizes are all about."

BOTB hands over the keys to a dream car each week, while also offering players the option of a cash alternative and a range of lifestyle prizes.

It is currently offering people the chance to win a stunning four-bedroom home in Winchester, two luxury cars and a £100,000 cash prize bundle in a competition costing just £1 to enter.

Founded in 1999, BOTB has given away prizes to over 742,000 people, including £160m-worth of cars so far.
