Tickets now on sale for Christmas carol celebration as Northampton cancer charity prepares for first festive fair

Tickets are now on sale for a well-renowned Christmas carol celebration as a Northampton-based cancer charity is also preparing for its first festive fair.

Maggie’s Northampton is getting ready for a season full of Christmas cheer, with tickets now on sale for its annual carol gathering at All Saints Church and the launch of its first festive fair at Towcester Racecourse.

Maggie’s provides free expert care and support in centres across the UK and online, including in Northampton since the opening of the centre in October 2025.

Described as “everyone’s home of cancer care”, the charity offers a welcoming place where people can find practical advice, emotional support, and the chance to connect with others who understand what they are going through.

The festivities will commence with the Christmas fair, planned for 9am until 3pm on Thursday, November 19 at Towcester Racecourse on London Road – and it has free entry, making it an ideal festive day out with family and friends.

Visitors can shop from more than 25 local artisans, discover unique gifts, enjoy delicious refreshments and get a head start on Christmas shopping.

The Christmas carol celebration will take place from 7pm until 9pm on Wednesday, December 16 at All Saints Church at the heart of Northampton town centre.

This offers the opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy traditional Christmas carols and readings, and celebrate the festive season while raising vital funds for Maggie’s Northampton – ensuring no one has to face cancer alone.

The doors will open at 7pm, with the celebration to begin at 7.30pm, and the £20 per person tickets are now available with early booking encouraged.
