Take a look at what’s coming up at Northampton’s historic landmark boasting 900 years of history
Take a look at what’s coming up at Northampton’s historic landmark, which boasts 900 years of history and is a firm favourite across the town.
Delapré Abbey prides itself on being a place that belongs to its community and every visit, volunteer hour, wellbeing session and restored building tells a story of people coming together.
Reflecting on 2025, the team say thousands of people walked, learned, volunteered, shared food, improved their wellbeing and found connection on the grounds of Delapré Abbey.
With the support of their funders, partners, volunteers, staff and trustees, they have not only safeguarded 90 decades of heritage but created opportunity, kindness and a lasting impact for Northampton – for today and generations to come.

Delapré Abbey takes a hands-on approach to bringing history to life, which makes it a unique family day out. You can also enjoy award-winning dining at Hibiscus, relax at The Orangery cafe, wander through the tranquil Walled Garden, and explore 550 acres of beautiful parkland.
