Northampton Big Family Day Out seeks licence for music and alcohol sales at rugby club
A licensing application has been submitted for a new family music festival set to take place in Northampton this summer.
Victoria Muir has applied to West Northamptonshire Council for a premises licence for the Northampton Big Family Day Out, which is planned for Northampton Casuals RFC, Rushmills House, Old Bedford Road, Northampton.
The application seeks permission for the provision of regulated entertainment, including live and recorded music, alongside the sale and supply of alcohol.
According to the application, the event would operate between 11.30am and 10pm on both Saturday and Sunday.

The festival is being marketed as a family-friendly event featuring a full day of live music and entertainment. Event organisers say visitors can expect performances from tribute acts celebrating some of the UK's biggest bands, including Queen, Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Green Day and The Killers. The event is scheduled to take place at Northampton Casuals RFC on July 18, 2026.
Promotional material describes the event as a "full day of family fun, live music and unforgettable summer vibes", with activities aimed at visitors of all ages.
The licensing application forms part of the statutory process required before alcohol can be sold and regulated entertainment provided at the venue.
Residents and other interested parties have until June 23, 2026, to submit representations to West Northamptonshire Council's licensing team.
The full application can be inspected by contacting the council's licensing department at One Angel Square in Northampton.
Should objections be received, the application could be considered by a licensing sub-committee before a final decision is made.
