New 180-metre zip line launches at Billing Aquadrome in latest attraction at revamped holiday park
Billing Aquadrome has unveiled a huge new zip line attraction as part of its ongoing multi-million-pound transformation.
The new attraction will send thrill-seekers soaring 180 metres across Wylding Lake at speeds of up to 50 kilometres per hour.
Standing 18 metres tall, the zip line begins near Billing Mill before travelling out over the water and past the venue area of the holiday park.
Announcing the attraction on social media, Billing Aquadrome described the experience as an “exciting new addition” to the Northampton leisure destination.

The statement said: “Take a deep breath and launch across Wylding Lake on our epic 180m zip line experience.
“Hit speeds of up to 50km/h as you soar over the water with wind in your face, butterflies in your stomach and absolutely zero dignity on the landing.”
The attraction is open to visitors weighing between 25kg and 105kg and can be booked online for slots from Saturday May 23.
The zip line is the latest addition to Billing Aquadrome following a major redevelopment programme under owners Meadow Bay Villages, which took over the site in 2024.
Recent investment at the site has included the creation of new restaurants, an aquapark, BMX pump track, Himalayan adventure golf course, upgraded entertainment facilities and new accommodation options.
