Hidden gem events venue in Northampton prepares for summer edition of much-loved ‘Love Local Market’ later this month

A hidden gem events venue in Northampton is preparing for a summer edition of its much-loved ‘Love Local Market’ later this month.

T’s, located at the old Pitsford Quarry on Harborough Road, is known for its coffee hut, markets, charity events and family-friendly woodland walk.

The outdoor space underwent a transformation and expansion in the summer of 2024, as the growing roster of events had outgrown what was already there.

The coffee hut was taken over by owners of The Courtyard Creperie Bela Kacsmarik and Tracey Onley in April 2023, as their eye-catching trailer regularly popped up at the location.

The two businesses remain separate entities, with Tracey’s main focus being T’s and Bela’s being The Courtyard Creperie.

The next event planned at T’s is the summer edition of the Love Local Market from 10am until 2pm on July 19 – with a focus on celebrating small and independent businesses and community spirit.

Returning guitarist Finn will be performing throughout the morning half of the event and, for the first time, T’s has a cocktail bar joining the fun.

You can join T’s for a relaxed day of shopping, sipping and soaking up the summer vibes, surrounded by a carefully curated selection of local makers, bakers and creatives.

The organisers have not forgotten gluten-free and vegan guests, with bakes, crepes, cannoli and more on offer.

There will also be fresh coffee, hot drinks, sweet treats, a beautiful woodland setting for a stroll and a family-friendly atmosphere, with well-behaved dogs welcome to attend.

Whether you are looking for unique gifts, handmade goodies or an excuse for a coffee in the woods, the summer edition of the Love Local Market is the one for you. The woodland walk and cafe will be open from 9am on the day, with the event commencing an hour later.

Organisers discourage visitors from using a satnav to get to the venue, and reiterate that they are not based at Pitsford Reservoir. Instead, you can use what3words and find the entrance at @park.pocketpark.

The entrance is at the old Pitsford Quarry, just past Hassett Fencing on the opposite side of Harborough Road, and the team look forward to welcoming you next week.
