Coronavirus: Northampton Beer Festival postponed for two months

Northampton Beer Festival has been postponed by two months due to the coronavirus outbreak.

The annual three-day celebration of ale was scheduled for late May but has been moved to July 31 to August 2 at the same venue, Beckets Park.

"As an organisation, we are monitoring the situation closely and following all government and NHS recommendations to keep the community safe," a statement from the organisers said.

"We are continuing to be hopeful that the beer festival will be safe to go ahead at a later date."

"For anyone that has already purchased tickets online, you will get a full refund, or you can transfer them over to the new date.
