Delapré Abbey’s popular murder mystery evenings have returned for the summer, packed with secrets, suspense and plenty of twists.
Next month’s event ‘Secrets in the Abbey’ is taking place from 7pm until 10pm on Saturday July 4, priced at £55 per person including an arrival drink and a two-course meal.
Inspired by the history of Delapré Abbey itself, this special night will take you back to the 19th century.

The prestigious Bouverie family are hosting one of their renowned dinner parties within their family home, where distinguished guests gather for an evening of elegance and celebration. But behind the grandeur of the Abbey’s historic rooms, not everything is as it seems.
As the events take a sinister turn, you will need to gather clues, interrogate suspects and unravel a web of secrets to uncover the truth behind a shocking crime.
Set against the atmospheric backdrop of the Abbey, this interactive evening combines mystery, drama and entertainment in a unique setting.
For £55 per person, you can immerse yourself in delicious dining, suspenseful intrigue and interactive entertainment. You will enjoy a drink upon entry and a two-course dinner served between investigations.
What makes this special is that it draws inspiration from Delapré Abbey’s own historical residents, weaving echoes of the past into a thrilling original plot. The team promises it is a one-of-a-kind experience you will not find anywhere else.
The choice of main course is between braised beef or Mediterranean tart, both served with potatoes, seasonal vegetables and gravy. The dessert is chocolate torte, raspberries and cream.
