A spell-binding, interactive Harry Potter themed ‘detective day’ is coming to Northampton next month.

CluedUpp Games, the company in charge of the magical day, has teamed up geo-gaming and dark magic to create a Potter mystery that needs cracking.

Teams of local wannabe-wizards will be given a ‘highly secret’ location where the game will start.

Detectives for the day will then be self-guided around the town centre using the CluedUpp Games app, which will give players clues to crack and witnesses to find.

The company describes the day as like a ‘giant game of Cluedo’ and encourages players to go all out with fancy dress.

CluedUpp's founder, Tref Griffiths said: “Due to the success of our previous games, we wanted to create something completely different and otherworldly.

“We're big fans of all things fantasy here at CluedUpp and we thought it was about time we created our own mystical adventure to captivate other magic lovers.”

The magical interactive tour will be held in Northampton on Saturday March 14.

Once registered, the leader of the team will be emailed the secret location where the team will need to start their game between 10am and 1pm.

Teams can be made up of up to six players adults as children and dogs play for free.

The game lasts between one and four hours, although the average completion time is two hours, twenty minutes and costs £36 per team.
