After a mild couple of days, temperatures are set to soar in Northamptonshire over this coming weekend.
The Met Office is predicting that Northampton will see highs of 25C on Saturday (June 10) and highs of 24C on Sunday (June 11). Kettering is set to reach 24C on both days.
As the weekend is set to be a scorcher, you might be hoping to spend a good chunk of it outside, and – thankfully – there are a lot of outdoor events lined up across the county this weekend. From a food festival, to a dog festival, there is something for everyone, including your four-legged friends.
Here are nine events happening in Northamptonshire this weekend, which you can enjoy while basking in sunshine.
If you are hosting an outdoor, public event this weekend, which is not already in this round-up, please email [email protected].

5. Barton by the Beach
Hoping to be the "biggest and best ever", Barton Seagrave Primary School's PTA is putting on a 'Barton by the Beach' summer fair. The event, which will be hosted at the school on Saturday (June 10) from 12.30pm to 2.30pm will see inflatables, trade stalls, plants, a raffle, a BBQ, doughnuts, displays, fairground games and much more. The PTA is raising money for electronic fitness boards for the playground, panto trips and others asks from the school. Photo: Barton Seagrave PTA

7. Duston Market
In a new concept, Duston Village Bakery held its first 'Duston Market' in May 2023. The event is set to become a monthly event. The next market will take place on Saturday (June 10) and "great businesses" are already lined up. The event is held in the car park of the bakery and is on from 9am - 3pm. Photo: Kirsty Edmonds
