5. Christmas in Becket's Park
Following a successful lights switch on in Becket's Park last year, Northampton Town Council will host a festive event at the park on Saturday December 7 from midday to 6pm. There will be live performances on the Christmas bandstand, magical ice rink, children's Christmas crafts and activities, festive workshops, stalls featuring seasonal produce from local community groups, businesses and organisations, fun fair rides, festive food concessions and bar, plus more. 6. Doddridge Centre Christmas Market
Taking place on Saturday November 16, the Doddridge Centre will host a Christmas market from 10am to 2pm. There will be stalls providing gift ideas, as well stocking fillers, sweets, hot chocolate cones, Christmas Eve boxes and a singer. Photo: Doddridge Centre
7. Althorp Coaching Inn Christmas Market

8. Daventry Christmas Market
Daventry's annual Christmas market will take place on Saturday November 23 in High Street, Bowen Square, Foundry Walk and Sheaf Street. Organisers say: "Come along and shop with independent stallholders, selling unique Christmas gifts and crafts as well as festive hot food and drink." The event is free and parking around the town centre is also free. There will be a number of other festive attractions too, including Santa in his sleigh, a giant snow globe, face painting and more.
