As the weather starts to brighten up, our minds turn to spring and summer, which is when Northampton's event calendar is the most jam-packed. And the town certainly has plenty to offer this year!
Big-named celebrities will be bringing their tour to the town in 2025, annual festivals such as Northampton Balloon Festival and the Gin and Rum Festival will return, and there will be plenty of gigs and music festivals to enjoy.
Below are just 19 of the huge array of excellent events and things to look forward to in Northampton in the second half of 2025.
13. Silverstone Festival

14. Northampton Music Festival
The festival will return to the town centre on Sunday September 7, for its 18th year. Music will be across seven stages across the town including the Main Stage, Jazz Stage, World Fusion Stage, Acoustic Stage, Beats Lyric & Poetry Stage, Student Showcase Stage and Musical Theatre Stage. Photo: NMF
15. The Amazing Northampton Run
The half marathon event will return to the town on Sunday September 14 and in 2025 it will commemorate the 350th anniversary of the Great Fire of Northampton. The 13.1-mile route takes in landmarks across Northampton and is all on closed roads. There is also a half marathon relay. Early bird tickets are on sale now in The Amazing Northampton Run website. 16. Pistons and Props
The classic event at Sywell Areodrome will return on the weekend of September 20 to September 21. Visitors will be able to see classic motoring on both the ground and in the air, as well as live music, vintage stalls, food and drink and more.
