Lights, trees, presents, lots of delicious food and of course Santa - Christmas is well and truly upon us.
And with the countdown on, that means festive activities are now at the forefront of a lot of parents' minds, with taking their little ones to meet Father Chrirstmas being top of the list for most.
Luckily, there are plenty of places where Santa is available to meet children in Northamptonshire.
Below are 14 Santa’s Grottos in Northamptonshire where your children can experience the magic of Christmas.

9. Northampton and Lamport Railway
Every Saturday and Sunday from November 26 to December 18, the railway will run Santa Specials. This includes refreshments on board the steam train where children can write their letter to Santa. Once off the train, little ones will be able to meet Father Christmas and receive a present. Tickets must be booked in advance online and are priced at £14 - £17.50 per adult, £15 - £18.75 for children aged up to 15 and £6.95 for infants under 12 months who are receiving a gift. 10. Stanwick Lakes
Santa’s Grotto will be set up in a barn at the county park on days throughout November and December. For £9.50, each child will get to make their own natural Christmas decoration, meet Santa and receive a gift. Santa will be available on November 19, 20 and 26 and then December 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23. Booking online in advance is advisable. Photo: Stanwick Lakes
11. Chester House Estate
Santa and other festive characters such as the Christmas Fairy and the Nutcracker Soldier will be in attendance at the Wellingborough venue on weekends from November 26 to December 18, as well as the week from December 19 to Christmas Eve. 12. Kettering town centre
Santa’s Lapland Lodge will be set up in the town’s Market Place. The grotto will be open from 10am to 4pm during weekends and school holidays, with tickets costing £7. Tickets can be booked by calling the box office on 07432 441147. As well as the grotto, there will be a free 12 Days of Christmas Trail around Kettering town centre, with trail sheets available from Kettering swimming pool. Photo: NT
