Two weeks of keeping the kids entertained and stopping them from climbing the walls is often an almighty challenge for parents.
But there is plenty going on across Northamptonshire this April that is sure to tire the little ones out, or at least keep them entertained and happy for a couple of hours.
From Easter egg hunts, to a chocolate afternoon tea and a museum reopening, there is a wide variety of activities in the country’s calendar, and even a few that will keep the adults happy too.
Here are 13 things to do in Northamptonshire to keep the kids entertained this Easter...

5. Brick Live Animal Paradise
For something a bit different that the kids are sure to love! From April 1 to April 16, there will be a trail of animal sculptures made entirely from toy bricks in Northampton town centre. The trail will feature 15 models of creatures including snow leopards, tigers, penguins and orangutans. Families can get involved in the trail by downloading the LoyalFree app onto their smartphone and scanning QR codes at each host venue to find out more about the model creature on display in the window. All those who complete the trail via the app will be entered into a prize draw to win one of two £100 vouchers. Taking part is free. Photo: BID
