Will there be series 4 of The Traitors?
Unsurprisingly, given how much of a success both the regular and celebrity versions have been, a fourth season has already been confirmed. It was announced back in August 2024 and applications opened earlier this year.
It is expected in 2026.
When will The Traitors season 4 start?
The BBC has not announced a release date yet, but it has given a hint to when it could arrive. In its yearly plan published a few months ago, the broadcaster said that The Traitors would return for series four in early 2026.
This would match the release of the previous two seasons. Series 2 started on January 3, 2024, and series 3 began on January 1 this year.
Every season of The Traitors has started on a Wednesday, with the regular season usually having three episodes per week. Taking a look at the calendar gives some potential start dates.
New Year’s Day falls on a Thursday next year, so it is not a strong candidate for the launch date. The first Wednesday in 2026 is January 7 and that could be when the series kicks off.
If it is delayed to a bit later in January, other potential dates including 14th and 21st.
