A group of West End stars will be taking to an open-air stage in Northampton this summer for an ABBA tribute night.

‘An Evening of ABBA’ will visit the County Ground in Abington on September 17, this year.

Run in conjunction with Royal & Derngate, the show was originally due to take to the stage in May 2020, but had to be postponed because of the pandemic.

A spokesperson from the show said: “Following on from the hugely successful stadium tour in 2018, our production of An Evening Of ABBA bring their brand new tour to The County Ground, Northampton.

“Stars from London’s West End, including cast members from the smash hit musical Mamma Mia! come together to perform a dazzling concert of ABBA’s sensational music.

“Backed by a fabulous West End band, led by Mamma Mia’s former touring musical director Richard Weeden, this one-night concert spectacular is an evening no ABBA fan should miss.”

All tickets are for general standing admission. To book visit the County Ground or Royal & Derngate website.
