Saints chief executive Mark Darbon said: “Without rugby we’ve had to consider more innovative ideas to help fill the void.

“Car Park Party absolutely fits that bill and we very much look forward to welcoming some of the UK's most entertaining acts to Franklin’s Gardens in July.”

On the evening of Friday, July 17 there will be a Comedy Store show, then on Saturday July 18 during the day 'Horrible Histories: Barmy Britain' will take to the car park stage.

Saturday evening will see live music with a sing-a-long concert from the Massaoke Band bringing two performances with ‘A Night At The Musicals’ and ‘Back To The Eighties’.

The weekend event is part of a UK tour of the Car Park Party, which will also visit several other places across the UK.

Social distancing measures will be adhered to throughout the weekend, including traffic management, cars parking at least two metres apart and tickets scanned through car windows.

Also adhering to guidelines, food and drink will be available and toilets will be on site with health and safety and sanitising measures in place.
