Side effects of hilarity in show performed at Wellingborough
Respite care and comedy might not be natural bedfellows but a group of amateurs hope to intmately associate the two in a show.
Wellingborough Cooperative Amateur Dramatic Society present Side Effects, a comedy written by the creator of Rising Damp Eric Chappell.
Frank Cook has been taken ill with a rare complaint.
He has been booked into a nursing home by his wife June for respite care.
While he is bedbound he encounters the Reverend Paul Latimer, recovering from a heart transplant, and whose odd behaviour is beginning to alarm his wife, Sarah.
The young, attractive Tracey might provide the answer in more ways than you might imagine.
The show can be seen from Wednesday June 15 to Saturday June 18 and starts at 7.45pm each evening.
Tickets for the show’s first night are available for £8 with prices for the other shows costing £10
