Texas have rescheduled their headline gig at Royal & Derngate in Northampton and the rest of their UK tour until next year.

The band was due to headline the theatre in November, but this has been postponed until Tuesday, February22, 2022.

For more than 30 years, Texas have proved themselves to be one of Scotland’s best bands and nothing short of a national treasure.

Just before Christmas, Texas caught everyone by surprise when they released the track Hi featuring the Wu-Tang Clan.

They have been working on a follow up to their 2017 album Jump On Board.

In 2019, Texas played a sold-out Glasgow show at SWG3, their fastest selling show ever.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Southside, the band played the entire album.

After the overwhelming success of that show, Texas decided to do the same on their forthcoming tour, coupled with a set list compiled of songs both old and new.

Formed in 1986 by Sharleen Spiteri and her partner in crime, Johnny McElhone, Texas have sold more than 40 million records, had 13 top ten UK singles, three number one UK albums and eight top 10 UK albums including their latest Jump On Board.

Original tickets remain valid for the rescheduled shows and additional tickets are also available via www.gigsandtours.com, www.ticketmaster.co.uk and https://www.texas.uk.com
