Oxjam events across Northamptonshire

Bands and venues across the county will be taking part in Oxjam fund-raising gigs this weekend.

Oxjam events takes place across the UK each year to help raise money for Oxfam.

On Friday night, there will be live music at Thomas ‘A’ Becket from 9pm followed by Great Divide, Second Hand Grenade and Fall From Glory at the Charles Bradlaugh on Saturday night. Music is from 7.30pm.

On Sunday, The Keepers, Katie Paton, Richenda Jameson and Amii Dawes will be playing The Pomfret Arms. Music is from 4pm to 10pm.

The same day, Thomas ‘A’ Becket will host an Oxjam curry night with The RePro Jam Squad from 7pm.

Admission into events at the Charles Bradlaugh, Pomfret Arms, Thomas ‘a’ Becket and Black Prince this weekend is £4 in advance or £5 on the door and tickets allow entry into all venues.

Dansmall and Friends will be playing at Everdon Village Hall on Saturday, October 15.

Later this month, on Friday October 28 Monarchs, Jagged Little Thrills and Deep sea Mountains will be The Black Prince in Northampton,

There will also be DJs and a fancy dress theme. Music is from 7.30pm to 1am and admission is £3.

Finally, on Sunday, October 30, there will be an Oxjam finale at The Pavilion at the Racecourse in Northampton featuring live music and food from 2pm. For full details of all events visit www.facebook.com/OxjamNorth
