The One Voice concert was due to take place this month at the Deco Theatre in Northampton.

However, because of the second national lockdown, it has been rearranged for March next year.

The concert and compilation album have both been organised by musician and producer Tommy Gardner.

He said: “The hope was we’d have enough time to get One Voice on stage during the period where restrictions were relaxed, sadly this wasn’t able to happen.

“Fortunately, as there was always a strong chance of the show having to be postponed due to Covid-19, a ‘Plan B’ was already in place thanks to the amazing team at The Deco theatre.”

The concert is now due to take place on Saturday, March 13, and will again be split into two halves taking place at 2pm and 7pm.

Mr Gardner added: “My hope is that we are in a much better place in March.

“I know this concert will be the perfect celebration for the return of live music into theatre and also a true celebration of how the local music scene has played a massive role in helping us all get through this challenging time.”
