The multi award-winning Northampton Male Voice Choir (NMVC) will present its Last Night of the Proms concert next month.

The choir, conducted by its musical director, Stephen Bell, will be joined by the world famous GUS Championship Brass Band and the fabulous soprano, Emily Haig.

This promises to be a magical night simply bursting with music to entertain you, with a fantastic range of music from the sublime Sibelius Finlandia Overture to Ron Goodwin’s 633 Squadron and a selection of songs from NMVC. The evening will end with a flag waving, “Last Night” sing-a-long with Emily Haig including favourites such as Jerusalem, Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory. Audience participation essential.

The concert will be held in the Spinney Theatre, Spinney Hill Road, Northampton, on Saturday September 24, starting at 7pm.
