A one-day festival featuring performances by acts from across the county’s music scene will be broadcast live from The Picturedrome this weekend.

The FrontRoom Festival has been organised by production crew who would normally work across Northampton but have been largely unable to do so during the coronavirus outbreak because of Government restrictions forcing music, art and entertainment venues to close.

It will feature performances by Duncan Bisatt, Har-Q, Jess Orestano, Baby Lung, Scott Walters, Gregory Coulson, Maddox Jones, Century City, David Spencer and the Pyro Party Band and will be hosted by Phil Moore - the editor of Northampton music website New Boots.

Sound engineer and event organiser Oliver Edwin, said: “The FrontRoom Festival is about helping to support some of the production crew and freelancers who work in sectors such as lighting and sound.

“It’s been a very challenging 12 months for us because there has been really limited opportunity to work because of the impact of the coronavirus.

“The Picturedrome is a great venue and we’ve got some of Northampton’s finest musicians taking part.
